No, I didn’t mean getting married…. \u00a0I meant tying the Knot of the Year!<\/p>\n

And the Winner is……<\/strong>The Double Davy knot! (and the Davy) \u00a0The Davy Knot was invented by Davy Wotton as a quick, easy and strong knot for use while competing on the Welsh National fly fishing team. \u00a0He needed to have a secure knot that could be tied quickly in the field. \u00a0With a little practice, one can tie the tag end so short that it doesn’t even need to be trimmed!<\/p>\n

I’ve found that this knot (and the Double Davy) is great; not only for fly fishing, but also great for traditional fishing. \u00a0These knots are super strong and extremely small in size. \u00a0Check out the videos to see how quick and easy these knots are to tie.<\/p>\n
